Mr. Mogensen has over twenty-five years of both private practice and corporate in-house experience specializing in mergers and acquisitions (including acquisitions and dispositions of businesses, business units and product lines), representing both buyers and sellers; formation of business entities (i.e. corporations, partnerships and limited liability companies); business financing (including equity and debt financing); technology licensing; contract drafting and negotiations, real estate transactions (including purchase and sale, leasing and financing, representing sellers, buyers, landlords, tenants, borrowers and lenders) and other commercial transactions, with strong background in tax and tax planning for those various transactions. Mr. Mogensen operates as an outside “general counsel” to many companies (including many start-up technology companies), and can offer a wide variety of transactional based legal services to his clients.

Intuit Inc. – In-house counsel responsible for all mergers and acquisitions, real estate, international corporate and real estate, corporate equity investments, insurance contract negotiations and advising acquired business units with respect to technology licensing.
